Mariia's Story

When I decided to do an internship at EuroDev, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. Therefore, I picked a Business Development (Sales) internship because it meant I'd be talking to clients, doing market research, creating plans and strategies, and reaching out to potential customers. 

Right from the start, I knew this internship wouldn't be easy. It required me to manage my time well, stay organized and always have an open attitude, ready to learn. 

As an intern, you are working in a team as well as by yourself, which is a great experience of structuring your time, making sure you reach all the weekly and monthly goals. This sense of responsibility and given freedom was something I truly appreciated about this internship. I was lucky to learn a lot (both by attending trainings and just observing more senior colleagues) and grow in different areas of business. For example, cold calling was something I didn’t expect to be doing. It made me step out of my comfort zone, but I was able to find the approach that worked for me and improve this skill. 

The people at EuroDev were really supportive. They came from different backgrounds and had different skills, which was cool because I could learn from all of them. Everyone was willing to help out when needed, while, as I mentioned before, also giving me time to structure my own work and try out things to realize what approach works for me and what activities I like doing the most. 

Looking back on my internship, I'm thankful for the things I learned and the friends I made. Even though there were tough times, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely do it again if I could. It was a great opportunity for me to learn and grow and I would definitely recommend doing the internship at EuroDev for anyone ready for a real business challenge!
