Mileage Reimbursement in Europe 2021
How to compensate your workforce for business activities completed using their personal vehicles? Often, employees must hit the road to get business done. In these situations, employers must be aware of how mileage reimbursement in Europe works as travel expenses are often reimbursed by the employer. Mileage reimbursement is the process of compensating employees for using a personal vehicle, such as a car or bicycle to complete a business activity or for commuting. Some activities eligible for mileage reimbursement are driving to meet clients or completion of offsite business transactions. In Europe, every country has different laws and regulations governing mileage reimbursement. Consequently, the process can become onerous as different elements must be considered for the reimbursement.
